My approach derives from several years of under-the-bar training and observing, and incorporates methods used by Jim Wendler, Louie Simmons, John Meadows, Dave Tate, and Joe DeFranco.

BiographyRyan Nelson is an athlete, animal lover, and vegan-food fanatic! One of the most popular names in the vegan fitness industry, Ryan is a sponsored Posha Green super-heavyweight bodybuilder. Ryan inspires others to set and achieve goals in the weight room, in the classroom, and in sports and life. With his Midwestern values and down-to-Earth attitude, Ryan has made it his duty to promote veganism and animal rights through vegan bodybuilding. His physique is testament to the fitness-promoting benefits of a healthy vegan diet. In addition to eating right, Ryan puts in hundreds of hours in the gym to maintainthat classic V-taper look he’s known for. Growing up in Big Horn, Wyoming, Ryan was a multi-sport athlete. But it was only with his success in college football that Ryan realized the power of weightlifting. As he spent more and more time in theweight room, his success inside and outside the gym increased. Ryan began to treat his body as a means of expression, a statement of power, compassion, dedication, and self-discipline. The only thing bigger than his body is his personality. With a smile that lights up a room and a sense of humor that never quits, Ryan will brighten your day. Make sure you say “hi” if you see him in the street or at the gym!
